"Yes, the gods are approachable and will grant you your request if you are powerful enough. However, there are some conditions that have to be met. The first you must ask the gods for their aid and the second you must be able to see into the future. If you cannot see the future, you cannot act to accomplish anything. Therefore, it is important to gain the gods' blessings with caution. With caution, you will be granted powers. When you are complete with your tasks, you must meet with me to discuss the next step in our collaboration.''
She turned her head and gazed at the beautiful woman that stood before her. It was pretty much a requirement for her to keep her in the best shape possible. ''Thank you, Queen Sorya.'
''I have taught you everything I know. You are very powerful for someone of your age. I am sure that you will be able to handle whatever is asked of you by the gods.'' Queen Sorya walked over to her and placed her hand on Vivian's shoulder. ''Remember my dear, you are now immortal and have all the time in the world to accomplish your goals. I will return in a few days to see how your becoming is progressing.''
''I am sure that they will be simple tasks.''
''We will see. I think that you are a wise and faithful soul, Vivian. You will be able to do what needs to be done. Look up when you go.''
''Goodbye, my queen.''
''Goodbye, Vivian.''
She paused for a second and then said, ''Goodbye.''
As Queen Sorya left her chamber she asked herself again and again if she should have warned Vivian about the consequences. Well, she was immortal now and she wouldn't age. That was definitely the outcome that she wished for. She looked again and again at Vivian, who was smiling. She was very beautiful and she looked like a regular girl. However, she did possess the famous aura around her. She could tell that Vivian would be a good queen. She smiled again.
She entered her chambers and then called for a servant. She told the servant that they would be leaving in a few months to the south. She needed to have the servants that she had chosen reserved for her.
She walked over to her desk and she smiled again. She reached toward the lamp on the table and rotated it for the light to dim and brighten. Then she picked up her brush and began to draw in the air at her desk about the size of a pen and then she drew the letters of her name.
She rose from her seat and went to the table and removed the dried flower and dropped it into the trash bin next to her desk. She then turned toward the bed, which was at the center of the room and walked quickly to it. She climbed on the bed and looked at the ceiling. She lay on her back, head facing the ceiling and then she began to grab her ankles and twist her ankles side to side. She did this for almost ten minutes. This was the second part of her training, the art of origination.
After she got off the bed she walked over to her drawers and opened the third one on her right. She reached in and took out a brush and ink pen and returned to her desk. She then began to write.
''What spells must I cast to make a simple flower of immortality?'' she asked herself.
The answer came to her immediately. ''There are two spells that must be cast. The first spell is to place the wish in the petals of the flower. The second spell is to place the flower on the seventh day of the moon.'' Queen Sorya was a prolific writer. She liked the feeling of putting pen to paper and making words come to life. Her notebook contained all the answers to her questions. This was how she learned about life and how to shape champions. She was dedicating her whole life to this.
''Is it true that the gods exist?''
''Yes, it is what I have always known.''
''Who is the creator of the universe and does he exist?'' she continued.
''Yes, I am the creator of the universe and the gods are from my voice,'' the voice responded back.
''What must I do to meet the gods?'' she asked.
She took a deep breath when she felt the presence of the gods enter the room. This was exhilarating and strange, such as she has never felt before.
''You must master the spells of life, sorceress. You must learn the mathematics of thought and conquer the universe in its entirety,'' a booming voice said.
She became frightened. The picture of the gods appeared in the air in front of her desk. The gods looked gigantic and terrifying. She couldn't see past the eyes clearly. The rest of the face, she could not see at all. Their eyes were the worst part. The eyes possessed a blue that was so dark, she felt as if she would fall into the abyss if she stared into them for more than a second. She closed her eyes and closed her mind to see beyond the eyes. That was the hardest thing she had to do. It wasn't impossible though. She had definitely encountered people with similar eyes.
''I will do what is asked of me.''
But must can ease my burden. The vice not weakness.''
As the gods faded from being she remembered the conversation that she had with the Divine. ''The vice to weakness, not the vice of weakness,'' she said.
She knew that she would have to meet the gods. She feared this and also knew that she would love every minute of it. She then closed the notebook after she made the note. She continued to stare at the ceiling.
The gods would be stopping by to see her again in a few days. She was so happy to have them to talk to, because they were always so wicked and witty. However, they always warned her that there were sinister parts of the soul and they knew what they were warning her about. She would always ask them what they meant, but their answers were always similar such as painful and dire consequences would come from what the godly voice said. She was sure that it wouldn't be the time for those conversations. The time for answers was now. Her eyes closed for a moment and then she opened them realizing that the gods would be coming back in like three minutes.
