There's a whole discussion latent in your observation about the different schools of thought. My thinking has changed quite a lot during the course of my life. What I most look forward to is resurrection, which I believe will take place on the last day.
I also believe that, as a believer, I've already been raised to spiritual life in the first resurrection.
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss, and I look forward to rejoicing with you when you and your love are reunited on the last day. Blessings!

Thank you for your kind words and welcome. I found out about steamit from several sources. Marci and I were not able to marry here on earth. I have been told that we are all the same in heaven. I have wanted to make it right and be her spouse as she wanted on earth in heaven. I do not know if God provides miracles in heaven, however I would like to do that for her. I know that Jesus has make it all right though and it will not matter however at this point as it is still fresh it matters to me. Thanks for your Christian article. She was a believer. I wish more folks were.
