Great Frog Pongo

in #story2 years ago

As his father lay dying in bed, Great Frog Pongo tried hard to convince his own son, Little Frog Nepoko, to accept his legacy of becoming human. However, Little Frog Nepoko who I could see was not ready to accept his father's wish. Therefore, he headed to the fields to meet with his friend Long Tail Neddoko of all turtle kin. Neddoko was the only turtle foolish enough to accept the wish of becoming a man. The two frogs were sitting on the banks of the stream when they were both surprised by the sound of a dog.

Nepoko, who was thrown into the water by Pongo, did not want to wash his back against his father to make him angry because it was just the beginning of the season.

Pongo then told Nepoko he had something important to tell him, but he ultimately slept with a smile on his face. Nepoko left his father alone because he did not want to disturb his last days.

Nepoko felt melancholy for his father. He was sad to be without his presence, since it was his father who had taught him the basic things of life.

At night, on the last day of his father's life, Nepoko was thinking about his father and was able to see him appear as a spirit. He said to his son that he had something important to say to him, but Nepoko wanted to put off his father because there was no way he could be sure that he would survive the night. It was then that he asked him what he would like to tell him. Little Frog Nepoko really did not know what to say to his father. He did not know what he was supposed to tell him; however, he finally found the strength to tell him to take him to the city, where they could spend the night. He told him that if he did not, he would be sad forever.

Nepoko was able to convince his father that he should take him to the city; however, Pongo also made it clear that if he did not, there would be an ocean of animosity. Nepoko was not willing to accept the curse of the ancestral property. Nevertheless, he was allowed to go.

When they arrived at the city, they found that the entire place was deserted. The only signs of life were the fish and crabs that always appeared at that time of the day to eat the scraps thrown into the water by the passerby. Nepoko did not have any kind of money to pay the innkeeper. He must have wanted to himself to cry, but thought that he could not let himself cry, because if he did not, he would not have the courage to tell his father what would happen, of what to do in the event of his death.

Therefore, he avoided it. In reality, the origins of Nepoko's father, who was the leader of the frogs, was in the fact that his mother had been a human who had died. His father, who was considered a very strong, smart human being, was head of the frog clan for many years. Whenever he felt sick, he would turn into a frog. Nepoko also tried to convince his wife that it was time to separate from her and to go back to the city to live as a human if he was going to become sick.

He stayed for a long time in pain in the city. In one of his trips, he had the opportunity to look for his old friend and make her his wife. He had told her about his ancestral property. In spite of the situation, she had accepted the proposal. Nepoko was getting tired of having to live in a pond with his father, who kept asking him why he did not have his own children, even though he had been married for a year.

In fact, he had been in the city a long time, but he was not truly ill, because if he was, he would have come to his wife as soon as she found out that he was in pain, as he had been before. At the time, he realized that he was not sick and was not going to die. This did not stop him at all, but he had been given the responsibility to ensure that his son married the daughter of his brother, the chief of the turtles.

Little Frog Nepoko was not willing to accept her father's legacy. However, he was not able to resist very long. Suddenly the next day he began to feel much better. He had gone to the city to be able to live as a human, and he was there to stay.

After he was well again, he went to the city to find his friend, Long Tail Neddoko, again. Nepoko was surprised to see that his friend was a man. After he was able to speak with him, he told his friend that he was happy that his father had left him his legacy to become a human.

He then looked out through the window and saw his friend Long Tail Neddoko walking the streets. He then followed him to find out where he was. Nepoko quickly lost sight of him and could not find him. He came back home and told his father, the leader of the frogs, that he did not know where his friend had disappeared to. He insisted that his friend was not in the city, and he had asked around, but he had not found him. Nepoko's father assured him that his friend would return and accept the legacy of becoming human as soon as he had returned to his house.

At the time, Big Frog Pongo had become very ill. He was unable to appear and talk to his son about his actions.

Meanwhile, Nepoko was surprised to find that Little Frog Neddoko had not come back on his own. He began to feel very sad, especially since his father was sick and would die.
