That's a smart strategy! Before I created the dedicated email address for shopping I would mark all of the marketing related crap coming in as spam so all future emails would be funneled into that folder. It's just so much easier to have them going somewhere else though because any company you give your email to will usually sell it to other companies and the onslaught begins! : ) Can you remember how much physical mail we all used to get before email marketing? I'm lucky to get one snail mail item a day now.
