That FOMO is tough! I always experience a little internal psychological pushback as I'm DCA'ing out during bull cycles but in the long run I'm never sorry I did it. I think I'm done with alts after the last bull cycle (except for Hive). I've parlayed some gains from previous gains into boring traditional investments, just so I'm diversified. Hopefully that doesn't backfire. No one really knows how AI is going to change the global economy. I've been hearing lots of people talking about total consumer debt cancellation and a complete restructuring of the economy. If that happens I'm guessing most traditional investments will take a huge hit except precious metals and such. I wish I had a crystal ball.
That's a good strategy to network during times of low engagement. I wish I had more time to communicate with people outside of Hive, in chat groups and such, but there never seems to be enough time in the day.
When people start to bitch about how bad things are, it reminds me every time of the losing party in the American election claiming they are gonna move to Canada. ;)
That's a good example! Hive is a unicorn (but people inevitably develop amnesia in this regard). I've tried several other platforms for my writing and, even during slow/turbulent times, nothing comes close in terms of rewards and engagement.
Yah I just can't quit Hive. I am sure there are other platforms worth attention but I have that @tarazkp superpower of stubbornness and consistency. ;)
