It certainly has helped me! Now that I've learned to slow down, do more research on the front-end, and pay more attention to the details I find myself willing to tackle things I wouldn't normally have had the confidence to. Good luck on the gazebo! I always try to find how-to videos on YouTube before a tackle something big.

Yes, YouTube is great! DYI stuff is about the only thing I use it for these days. Oh, and music videos. :)
