When we were having our kitchen redone I bought an electric hotplate with coils. Maybe I'll have to dig that out and start using my cast iron again. Really? I'll be heading over to Reddit today then to dive down that rabbit hole. Thanks!

A lot of it is the same questions, but there is some good stuff in there too. A lot of times it's people buying a piece at a estate sale or flea market and they want help identifying it.
