RE: Cautiously Optimistic

in #story22 days ago

I think last weekend's weather was about as perfect as it can get here. Sunny, low humidity, and highs in the 70s. Crypto influencers predictions have been all over the place ($39k to $400k.) I don't think anyone really knows where BTC is heading anymore, it's just too tough to predict now that BTC decoupled from M2. Investors are just along for the ride. I'll be happy of we blow past the previous ATH.

I'd be loving that too. Over 100K by the end of the week doesn't seem too crazy right now, but I'm just waiting for "someone" to do or say something that flips the script. Right before he puts in a short most likely. That is perfect weather. High 70's during the day, maybe low 80's. Low humidity, and then like mid 50's at night.

No, that could easily happen—prices have been suppressed for so long. I love this late-summer weather. I just hope it sticks around for a while. It almost needed light jacket this morning during my first walk of the day.

I actually just walked my jacket over to my wife because she has to go outside and monitor recess for the kids and she was afraid she might be a little chilly. I even found myself wearing jeans around the campfire Saturday night when we were camping!

Light jackets escalate into full winter gear here pretty quickly! Lol. The birds are already migrating and the squirrels are starting to work overtime burying nuts so I'm thinking the frost will come early this year.

Interesting. I know they have been saying that El Nino is going to have a stronger effect on the weather this year, but I don't really know what that means.

I'm not sure. I always get the El Nino and El Nina mixed up. I looked it up and El Nino brings milder winters. I'm all for that!

One of the YouTubers we watch posted this video yesterday about the U.P.

Ah yes, Yooperlites. Pretty cool stuff. You should check out Petoskey stones too. Those are really awesome, especially when you polish them up. My wife wants to go hunting for Yoooperlites sometime. The old glass from the iron ore processing plants are floating around on some of the beaches too. I work with a guy that collects the stuff.

He went to so many of my favorite places! :)
