The fairgrounds is about equal distance from both downtown areas. I've never been to Toronto (except on layover at the airport) but it looks like an incredible city. It would be fun to visit their fair!
This years' largest threats came from two rival Somali gangs (Muddy and The Ville) that were planning on fighting at the fair but there was such a heavy police presence there that I didn't hear about any issues, aside from small skirmishes. Its a shame the authorities can't protect the entire Twin Cities area like they protect the fairgrounds. The $76+ million dollars the fair rakes in every year probably has a lot to do with that.
You're welcome and thank you! The first few days after launching the book have surpassed my expectations. Using AI to help with marketing has ended up making a big difference. This has been the best launch of my publishing career. Now, the trick will be to sustain the sales as long as possible and maybe sell some of the older books to new readers.
Some sales posts/ads disguised as "Thank you for purchasing so many of my latest book!" posts might help a little. Gracious enough not to be bragging but showing others they might be missing out on something special and better buy now before the first run is sold out.
Thank you for that idea, Zeke! I'll try that.
