I think you're right. This couple who owns the business probably just identified an opportunity to sell something unique to Americans. I think he's American and she's Ukrainian. They've been at our fair for, at least, three decades. My Mom's maternal grandfather came from what is now the Ukraine so she really identifies with the culture. We grew up eating cabbage rolls and lots of foods from that region!
