It was so much sweeter this year that I remember it. I guess the farmer that's been supplying the fair for years just passed so I'm not sure if it'll be the same next year. Hopefully one of his children will take over the operation. The Sky Ride has been there for a while at our fair. The Ohio State Fair had one too, I can remember riding in it as a child, people would get the cars bouncing up and down. Safety was a little more lax in the 1970s. Lol.

We have a corn festival in the town where I live, but they alway do it in late June or early July before the corn is even ready which really baffles me!
That's so strange! I wonder if they serve corn grown further south?
I'm not sure. Like a lot of these little festivals, I think it's more about the beer tent than the actual theme of the festival! :)
