I know they add up, on our rental we needed to paint, and professionally clean the oven and heating, and we still need to re-do the bathroom and make the garden nice. But it is zero degrees Celsius, garden can wait.

What a pain! I've heard that owning rentals can be tough. Some renters just don't respect the space since they don't own it. I hope the work is minimal!
