I so enjoyed reading this! And yes, you absolutely have to continue - this is one tradition you shouldn't break with. Poor kid though xD I agree - my mum's generation used to tell a lot more jokes than we do now, and just engage in general silliness all around. I remember an interview with an actor I like, about my mum's age, talking about how important it is to keep doing these things - practical jokes, puns, silly voices, weird walks, everything and anything that would keep you young and provide some comedic relief. It's vital (especially these days!). I've tried to stick to that.
Ha the website didn't work for me (though the fact alone that there is such a thing as thepootertooter.com is fantastic), so I googled it.
Used by countless celebrities - best ad for a fart gag ever.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's good to hear someone your age is still living their lives with some comedic relief. As we were growing up there was still so much of the old slap stick humor on television—Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, The Little Rascals, Benny Hill, etc. The Pooter Tooter ad is so bad it's great. Lol. This guy has been making these for decades and I think has gotten quite rich off it. His children will be heirs to the Pooter Tooter fortune. : ) Humor can be such a pressure/stress relief, I think it's one of the much needed things that are dwindling away in today's world.
