Start your vision in the center of the sun. Nothing to be seen but the simplest forms of matter all around; free Atoms and assorted Sub-Atomic Particles; battered by Intense Energy of a Billion Nuclear Bombs, and crushed by the pressure of a mass of a Million Earths. Nothing survives here but the most compact particles in nature; all are alone. There are no couples, only Individuals. All partnership is stripped away by the chaotic winds of this place.
It is only your imagination that allows you to experience it.
Yet, something amazing happens in this place. Many become one.
Amid the crushing pressure of this place, individual particles are pressed together to join; at the cost of a change in their very nature. Like Lovers breaking down their fear and walls, Protons, which once kept purely to themselves; rejecting change; are now combined in a collision of Body and Energy, to no longer be quite the same as they once were.
From this Transformation, Energy is flung outward into that hot place; aiming toward Freedom.
We will follow that Energy in our Imagination.
Imagine a "Photon," or a "Packet" of Energy. Imagine this as a "Wiggle" in the Universe. Always on the move; never at rest. It is like the courier that seeks a recipient,somewhere, with news of the event of its birth.
All that this wiggle knows is motion. In the core of the Sun, however, it can move only a short distance before it finds itself crashing into some spinning and vibrating particle. It must keep moving, though, and will soon abandon its temporary physical home for another chance of escape; flying across the tiny open spaces that exist here between particles. Over and over the wiggle is absorbed, and over and over it finds its way free, taking a random walk towards ultimate freedom.
If it is lucky, it will take the little Photon one hundred thousand years to escape that golden furnace. If it's not lucky, then it could be a million years before it finally finds itself at the surface of the Sun; with room to run far and fast in the darkness of Space.
As tiny and inconsequential as it is, our little packet of Energy is FAST. After spending hundreds of thousands of years trying to escape its Solar Prison, it takes only Eight Minutes for it to find its way to that insignificant little Blue-Green Planet that we call Earth.
Maybe you'll be the one to observe it. As you absorb and transform it, you are reading the message that it brings to you; of its journey from the heart of the Sun, through Space, and into your Mind and Body. Just a tiny little spark that touches on your Nerves and Senses.
Maybe it touched others on its way to you, so that it brings with it a message of a Smile, or the Glint of an Eye; and maybe, through its transformations and interactions within your own system, it will find its way back out into the World; carrying with it a tiny little bit of Information about its Journey through you, for someone else to experience and to take joy in.
Remember to Smile, and keep a Glint in your Eye.
