A support plan

You've been placed in a new high school which, despite the name, is no different from the previous one. With a group of friends you decide to attend the first day together. As you walk down the hallway you see a group of snakes approaching. Some of you recognize them, but you can't place who they are. You walk past them and enter the classroom.

"Hi gentleman," one of the snakes says.

"Hello," you say, confused. But the voice is familiar. What is this? A snake is talking about its education?

"It's so nice seeing new faces here," the snake continues. "I understand that there are a lot of new students this year. Can I get your names?"

"Yes, you can," you answer. "Everyone knows each other and you can't get through to anyone new. Just use a gluon particle to entangle anyone new trying to speak to you"

"Yes, that is going to be my new mission," the snake says. "So, what grade are you in?"

"Uhh, agh, well, I'm..." you are interrupted.

"Agh, well, what?"

"I mean, I'm in fourth grade," you answer, "I don't go to the same school as you, so I'm a little confused about what's going on here. Are you trying a new way of giving a speech?"

"I'm sorry," the snake says. "I just need to obtain names, I don't want to interrupt your speech. How did you get into the class anyway?"

"I... I don't know. I just walked in!" you are more confused than ever. Here you are in a conversation with a snake and you don't even know how you got here.

"Whoa, you normally have a teacher's card with you to get you past the secretary. You must know someone in this school, huh? I've been here for 3 years and I have yet to see a teacher's card..." you don't have any answers for this.

"Maybe snake-sensei knew I was coming to this class, because I don't have a teacher's card either," you say. Maybe he's not the one you need to talk to, maybe it's the older students. That's probably it. A teacher's card.

"That must be why. I guess we're both really important people." He seems to be confirming your theory. "Anyway, on to more important things, names!" the snake starts talking to the other snakes behind him.

"You were talking to him?" one of the snakes asks you.

"To me?"

"Yes, you, or to us? To tell us what you think. He doesn't always respond to conversations. Sometimes he listens quietly, but sometimes he doesn't say anything at all."

"Well, if he was talking to me I probably have no idea what he's saying, so it's up to you to interpret." You decide to just answer the questions.

You spend the rest of the break talking with some upperclassmen about the snake that goes by the name of "snake-sensei", who is a wonderful teacher. You decide to work with the snake to help you out of your boring high school classes.

The snake-sensei never learned where his name comes from. When he was a baby, he was found in a garden shed. There was no one else there, so he took the name "snake-sensei". When he was little, a local police officer gave him the job of snake patrol. He'd go around the neighborhood at night and make sure that all the snakes in the area were asleep.

One night, a group of snakes were arguing at the local high school. They knew the police officer was coming, so they decided to focus the argument on the school's doors. When the officer came, he was really shocked to see snakes talking like humans do.

"What the heck is going on here?"

"This is about the teacher card. There's only one in the school, and it used to be mine. I want it back so I can get into the library."

"You're talking about a teacher card? What does it do?"

"It gets us past the front desk."

"You can just do that by going in through the window."

The police officer couldn't understand what the snakes were talking about. The snakes tried to explain but they got confused themselves. Since the police officer didn't understand anything the snakes were saying, he just decided to leave.

"But how are we going to get into the library now?"

"We'll just have to keep overloading the school's security system. I suggest we go to the library and see what the password is today."

"I think I have a better idea." The police officer took out his smartphone and leaned over the subway tracks. "Everyone here is on my contact list, I'll let them know, and they can let the school know."

The tunnels through which the snakes lived eventually ended up outside the gates of the local high school. The police officer gave his friends his phone number and they began to text him.

"Why are you all texting me?" the police officer asked.

"We'll explain later," one of his friends said. When the police officer arrived at the school everything was over. The snakes were back in the classrooms, the teachers were typing quietly on their computers and the front desk was empty.

Since that day, the snakes have been in charge of manipulating the school's security system. They keep an eye on the windows and doors of the school, to make sure no one gets in illegally.

In addition to the police officer, other upperclassmen in the class have helped you out. You've learned the phone numbers of all the teachers and you've been given access to the principal's office so that you can summon any teacher you want. You have learned to answer the boss's questions in advanced so that he can give you any piece of advice for various situations.
