I was fired from a job as rental agent in an apartment complex. I refused to put a huge letter 'C' at the top of rental applications by 'coloured' people. Despite my protests the firing stuck, but it did have a happy ending of sorts. You see, I ended up teaching in that area and making a difference in young peoples' lives. Sometimes when I pray I don't get parking spaces and my favourite team, the Leafs, don't always win, but I know the Lord is quite fond of me, and that's enough :)
