hey guys today I would like to give you some short infos about EOS.

EOS is a coin that I find very interesting, I also have a few of EOS in my portfolio.

The motto of EOS is : "Decentralize Everything"

There is a lot of experience in this project, because Dan Larimer is in the house! A co-founder of BitShares and Steemit, two successful projects! With Dan Larimer, block.one is behind EOS, a company that offers enterprise blockchain solutions.

EOS wants to be a blockchain for decentralized applications.

Applications on the Ethereum network support only one programming language, the language of Ethereum.

A big plus is that EOS will support many different programming languages. At the moment, the project is still running on the Ethereum network. Once EOS has its own blockchain network, the applications that run on the EOS network, this will support many different programming languages!

The requirements of the white paper include the following:

  • Simultaneously support millions of users to compete with other major platforms.
  • Free use
  • Low latencies

To address these issues, EOS relies on the Delegated Proof of Stake, or DPoS for short, as a consensus mechanism. In the DPoS, the token holders are run by the block producers through a continuous approval system.

Everyone can participate in the generation of blocks. On the basis of the votes, which are paid for the interested block producers, the probability, that one may generate a block, is calculated.

That their own Blockchain will ever come, can not be guaranteed. But I think they have a strong team behind EOS, I believe in EOS. I think if it is really realized then it will be a very valuable coin, I see a lot of potential!

In the EOS blockchain the middle of the year is planned, you will get once more EOS Coins, if you already owns before the release. These must be activated, this is very important. Otherwise you will not get your old coins replaced. I'll write a separate post about what you need to do to activate it.

You can find more information about EOS on the original website.
