RE: The Fun Uncle

in #story3 days ago

Hahaha. I agree with you, and I'm also the funny, joking aunt in the family! Latin Americans are more relaxed, and Venezuelans, despite all the calamities we experience, turn everything into a joke, a game, a prank. I think it's the way we've found to keep smiling. Here, on April Fools' Day, December 28, everyone plays pranks to trick others. I think it's a nice way to keep the child inside us alive. I hope you'll share your nephew's reaction to those balls with us. Don't grow up, Eric. Keep having fun. Hugs.

What a fun role to play! You're right in saying it's a way to keep the child in us alive. I think having a good sense of humor is our natural state. Most children are born this way but adulthood has a way of exhausting it from some people as they grown up. April Fools' Day used to be so much more popular here in America but I think political correctness and oversensitivity have made it far less popular. If I can I'll share a video of the exploding golf balls in action. : ) I don't plan on growing up anytime soon. You be sure not to either! I can't imagine how boring life would be if I did. I wish you a wonderful weekend Nancy!
