RE: Midsummer Reflections

in #storyyesterday

I've learned that sometimes what we criticize most is what we least allow ourselves. What we reject from others is a hidden part of ourselves that we carry within. Sometimes the judgments we make are a form of self-defense, more than an opinion. Regarding animals' ability to heal themselves, I remembered a video I saw about crows that, when they feel unwell, go to anthills so the ants can spread an acid that eliminates fungi and parasites. Nature is wise, and surely it holds the antidote to all ills. Hugs

That's so true about things we criticize! I didn't know that about crows. Nature sure does have lots to teach us. It's always amazing the extent to which survival is coded into the genes of animals. Humans must be taught almost everything but animals, for the most part, do everything automatically/naturally. Thanks for your comment and I hope you enjoy your weekend Nancy!
