I am the granddaughter of an Indigenous woman, so I grew up hearing incredible stories—not just about reincarnation, but also about lycanthropy. Like you, I have drawn upon many of these beliefs in my own writing. My Spanish literature professor used to say, "There are many things unknown to mankind, and that is a good thing." I believe that much of what humanity has achieved is precisely because of that mystery and our drive to discover everything. Personally, if there is anything that remains a mystery to me, it is dreams, déjà vu, and premonitions. Can you imagine if human beings knew everything that was going to happen? It would be rather boring. Hugs, Eric
I had never heard of the word, lycanthropy. I learned something today! There's so much science has yet to discover. I think science is on the verge of proving consciousness doesn't exist inside of us but it's a field that exists outside of us that humans have the ability to tap into like a radio receiver. There are many other mysteries that AI will help us solve. I'm of the belief that our sense only allow us to experience a very small sliver of what's happening around us. There's much more to reality than we can even imagine and we may be lucky enough to have proof of that in our lifetime. Wouldn't that be amazing? Thanks Nancy and I wish you a good evening!
