One time my friend Sam woke up and noticed that a plant which was facing his window the night before had fallen off the table and was lying on the ground. At first he thought that the plant may have dropped because it was a bit top heavy but then he noticed that it had fallen at an angle - something that wouldn't happen if it was top heavy as it would have fallen in a strictly vertical direction. Also the dirt was spread out over the floor as if someone had tipped the plant off the table and used their hands to spread the dirt everywhere. Here's a picture:
This wasn't an isolated issue either. One time he was playing Overwatch and talking with friends on his Discord server and when he went out to go for dinner and came back he noticed he had been muted by his friends. When he asked why, they said, "Your roommates were being really loud." It wouldn't have seemed weird if Sam was in college still and actually had roommates but he hasn't been living with anyone for months, since his sister went on a trip to Spain he was alone in the house.
That night Sam couldn't sleep because of the events that had unfolded during the previous day. He found himself waking up multiple times at night. That night would change his life forever.
