A friend of mine was driving home late one afternoon in his little shovel-nosed coupe, taking back roads and moving a little quick. He had someone waiting for him at home, and was anticipating a bit more than driving.
He came around a corner, and caught an old tom turkey. That was a big bird, and flop-flop-flopped as it rolled up the front of his car, scratching the glass and cracking some of the plastic.
That was bad enough, but it went up in an arc, and came back down. When it came down, it went into the other lane, and happened to end up occupying the same space as the windshield of an oncoming police car. The police car, with much less of a slope to it, lost its windshield as the big bird caught it pretty square on and crashed on through. The bad news wasn't done, though - that police officer stopped, turned around, hit the lights, and pulled my friend over to give him a ticket.
... for flipping him the bird.

I'd say that was a dedicated police officer.
Hmm... I wonder if Pixabay would have an image of a turkey flying through the air and leaving a bloody arc as it smashed into a police car...
