The village girl arrived at the cottage.
Grandma Anne was delighted to see her. They hugged each other and chatted for a while. They drank tea at the conservatory. Grandma Anne's conservatory was nice with a small table and chairs. At the sidewall were the tomatoes that the village girl brought from her village. She was happy that the tomatoes were adopting well in a different environment.
It was a long day, they had dinner and went to bed early. The next morning, the village girl was awaken by the birds singing through her window. She opened the window and said. "Ahhhh what a beautiful day today" Overlooking the hill were the sheep were resting, she wondered if they were not cold last night.
At around 7:00 o clock in the morning, she prepared herself to get ready for the day. She went downstairs, and collected the daily newspaper at the door. Gwen, the delivery guy is always early to deliver newspapers in the whole neighborhood. He's been delivering newspapers to Grandma Anne for more than 15 years now.
The milkman came early as well. He brought 3 bottles of fresh cows milk at the doorstep. Grandma Anne, loves her English tea every morning. It was still early to wake up Grandma. The village girl went to the garden and watered the flowers and the vegetables. The Annual Summer Show is coming this week. Grandma Anne, is looking forward for this event. They planted all kind of different vegetables like runner beans, sweet peas, courgette, parsley, potatoes and tomatoes. They also have roses, daisies and all kind of flowers in the garden.
The village girl walks down the garden and pick some apples for her breakfast. At the corner of Grandma Anne there is the small river. Sometimes she could hear the river from her room, flowing like a lullaby at night.
She woke up Grandma and they had breakfast together. She sets the teapot, porridge and toast with jam for breakfast. Everyday is the same breakfast for Grandma, nothing more nothing less. They have their daily routine. Around 10 o'clock in the morning, they would walk outside for the morning exercise. Grandma Anne would usually writes her letter to her Sister Mary, who is leaving in the other city. The village girl is always fascinated how these old letter boxes exist. Amazing indeed.
Grandma loves her daily walk, at the age of 97, she walks everyday twice a day. She might be the oldest in the this village. They usually walk up to the woods, it's a 30 minutes walk for her. She walks slowly, but the village girl is very patient and encouraging her all the time. Everybody in the neighborhood knows the super Grandma Anne.
On their way walking to the woods, the village girl will pick wild flowers, scrubs and wild berries. The village girl makes a personalized card for Grandma Anne, so she could send it to her sister Mary....

It was late in the afternoon when the village girl left home, her holiday was over. It's time to go back to work and earn some money for living. She was sad that she had to leave her loved ones. She had a great time in the village. She spent most of her time in the garden, cooking, walking in the woods, doing simple things together with her loving family.

The weather was a bit cold and wet. The village girl looked outside through the window and saw the beautiful landscape of the country, the valley, the hills and the green field full of cows and sheep. It gave her comfort and peace to see the nature. It reminded her of the village she had left behind.
Hope you like it guys!
