Fanbase

in #streemian9 years ago

I mentioned at the beginning of the year that I was dropping out of curation autopilot (Curation Trail). Shortly after that, Streemian added Fanbase. This is very different from Curation Trail.

For this feature, we can pick a list of authors we always want to upvote. I don't add everybody to this too, even if they're in my list of authors I review daily. I also exclude certain tags from the automation. I've been very happy with the results.

Around the end of the day, I run one of my scripts to review my upvotes just to make sure it's 100% aligned with what I intend. More importantly, I'm interested in reading what I've upvoted.

This system saves me time and reduces cognitive load. It supports the authors I personally like and gives me a great list of articles.

Is fanbase a "guild" that uses a bot?

No. It's automation. I pick exactly who to vote for. Nobody has control of my votes. It's true that Streemain has the power to vote for things I do not authorize, they have never done this.

Hey @inertia, if I may ask, can you please consider my account to be added to your fan base? I write original stories, mostly scifi and some geek articles.

Ok, if you'll consider joining SteemSpeak. :D

I can do a write-up interview if you like? Or help with an honest review? I'm not looking to put myself out there personally at the moment.

No problem, I'll take a look.

Oh its a chat room, my bad, I thought you wanted me on the radio :p.
