#239 - Jaywalking when it is raining.

Heavy rain pouring all of a sudden. The people walking on the streets got caught by the rush of rain water dropping from the dark clouds above. Hence quick response is required, people draw their umbrellas and took cover as they rush to shelter in the nearest buildings.

These two crossed the road from the other side and had to jaywalk to avoid getting more wet from the torrential rain. The public servants supposed to catch them gave way because of the condition.

An elderly lady rushed to cross the street going to the other side of the road while there are still no incoming vehicles around. While another person, a young man on the left, chose to stand still while he wait and make sure no car is around. The inclined street is always full of people and vehicles so the speed here is at least 10kph mostly.

A young man stopped by the store on the left and bought something to eat while he waits for the rain to stop. So he just stood there in front of a store that is close and eats the finger food he got while watching the incoming and outgoing people and vehicles.

I jay walk all the time. By the way, I saw a lot of heavy rain in Saigon which is across the pond from the Philippines.

So many flooded streets which I biked through during raining season. Kind of fun. Oddly warm water, at least its not freezing water.

Yeah if the drainage is clogged streets get flooded. That happens too here in Metro Manila, just a few minutes of rain and tadah! a lake of rain water in the street😁.
