#347 - Those who are forgotten.

Good day my fellow Hiveans. Sharing some photos taken last week during our recent travel to the city of pines. The city is still strict in allowing tourists or non residents to get inside the city. After our bus reached the terminal, we were processed by some people checking for all our documents required before they allow us to move out of the terminal.

After more than thirty minutes of waiting we were interviewed and allowed to leave and exit the terminal door. We got to a taxi and drove us straight to the hotel we booked in several days ago, which is also a requirement in the triage located in the bus terminal.

Upon getting our hotel key, we went to our room and set up a portable wifi router which is prepaid and my son joined his online class right after. We have to wait for him for another two hours before we can go out and explore the city streets.

Here are some of those shots, this first one shows an old woman begging form alms in the famous Session Road. She uses an empty noodles cup as a dispenser for those who are willing the share some coins and bills. This is one of the sad reality brought upon by the pandemic, many people ran out of money because they don't have jobs anymore and it affects their families. Even kids are also not spared getting involved in this similar image.

A sea of people crossing the pedestrian 🚸 lane right after the vehicle stop light turned red and the walk light turns green. Faceshield here is no longer mandatory but there are cops almost everywhere reminding people to always practice social distancing, but that is far to be achieve here because there's too much people and hard to be controlled.

A family of three looking over their left shoulder, something of interest might have caught their attention which I might not be aware of.

Another scene of people walking to cross. The weather here is cold at late afternoon and early morning but during day time, it is a bit hot but not as hot as in the metro.

Yes that was last week

Ohhh. Hehehehe. I thought still required in your place.
