Get a piece of paper.
Make a vertical line on the left side of the page, one in the middle, and one on the right side.
Make a horizontal line connecting the three.
Label the one in the middle neutral.
I call the left evil, and the right good.
You can adjust this to suit your tastes.
This is a gradient scale that runs from satan through you and on to god.
Ultimate evil and good live at the ends, everybody else lives on the line.
Maybe you are to the left of Mohammad Ali, and to the right of mother Theresa, not for me to judge.
When the sperm and the egg come together and you become you, you are at neutral.
When you do good, you move to the right and are closer to god.
When you do evil, you move to the left closer to satan.
When you die, there you are.
I hope this qualifies as having stated my position.
I have a huge critique of Christianity, but have forgotten most of it as irrelevant to where I am today.
The final nail in its coffin for me was this book.
My belief had been quelled years before reading it by something an old jewish fella had said to me.
Good show.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says that getting to heaven is accomplished by faith, not by deeds. The point of Jesus dying on the cross was for all of our sins to be paid because he was sinless. We cannot earn eternal life. Religion is man trying to reach God. Christianity is God trying to reach man.
I understand that your world view is centered in the bubble of knowledge that you have been led to believe is complete, 'world class' even, but there is a whole world of knowledge that you have not been given.
In fact, it is occluded to you intentionally.
Hidden behind scary concepts designed to deter/distract seekers.
You can't find the way out of a trap if you refuse to know that you are in one.
I had lost my religion by the time I found this book, but my dropping it like it was hot was confirmed to be correct by the evidence presented in this guy's work.
If the christian faith didn't serve the purposes of those that control, it wouldn't exist.
I'm sorry, I know that may seem shocking to you, but I have to give you my truth.
Up to you what you chose to do with it.
