Would you believe it Sunday already, time for another #SublimeSunday which this week is consisting mainly of Scenic Views, which the little wizard that lives in my iPhone hunted through all my photos and found just the scenic views - clever little fella

This of course means I yet again failed in my mission to take photos during the week - I just seem to be totally unable to get my phone out and take a photo while I am doing things - something about multitasking I suppose

I could have taken a photo of The Piece Hall in the pouring rain yesterday - but as it was raining alot and I was carrying a grinder to The Deli because their grinder decided Saturday morning was the best time to stop doing coffee grinding. Of course this is more annoying because I live nowhere near work or The Piece Hall - but work is just a short distance from The Piece Hall so I spend all week very close to them to quickly sort out these issues. But no, have the problem Saturday morning so I have to drive from home to work in the pouring rain, get a spare grinder, drive to the Piece Hall - take them the grinder, set it up for them and take away the non functioning one - which is now in my Frunk to stop the car smelling of ground coffee.

So to mix things up a bit I do have some Tesla dash cam and sentry mode clips to share. Obviously Tesla are quite unique in using the cameras all round it to record your drive - and if nothing happens at the end of it the footage is deleted. It auto records in the event of an accident, if it has to brake for you etc. Or you can press the dashcam button as you are going along to save upto the current drive point.

This is on my drive home the other night, the BMW oncoming was going very quick for a 30mph road, but also he was way into the middle of the road getting very close to the car in front of me - and he was even closer to me I had to move a little left despite the parked cars I was approaching.

Sentry mode is super handy for finding out what happened to your car while you were away from it, it only records if someone is close to the car (and pulses the front and rear car lights as a warning, along with the HAL pop up on the centre screeen) I found this funny because it is a DPD van - who now seem to deliver little girls with dolls as well as parcels.

This was one morning, I had to drop the Royal Mail parcels off and had parked in a shop car park. The car park was literally empty, but somehow this van desperately needed to squeeze in next to my car. I will let him off no door bashing going on here.

This was a bit close for comfort, the car on the left I think just saw a gap and ignored the fact I was well alongside him. Fortunately I backed off to give him space when it was evident he was coming across no matter what.

Talking of cars what I have been taking photos of are loads of Disney Cars, now the youngest lad is 15 childhood toys are no longer of interest - so I am setting out to sell them on eBay. Disney cars being quite collectable can show a good return in even used condition.

There must be 60 or 70 of them to photograph and list. Then Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Playmobil which there seems to masses of - and I don't even want to think about yet all the Thomas The Tank Engine trains - there has to be 100's of those.

So the sunny scenic views are far from the last weeks wet and windy weather we have had in the UK - still have the hosepipe ban though.

And that is my #SublimeSunday - one way or another there is always something interesting happening. All photo's and gifs are my own, care fully thought out text is from my head not an AI

We’ve got two EVs, the model y and a Ford Explorer. Haven’t tried the dash cam yet. Might be worth using!

On the Model Y it will auto save in the event you use the horn, or it has to emergency brake for you. You can manually save pressing the button the dock, that is presuming you have the USB drive plugged in the glove box and set up. I replaced the stock 128gb drive they supply with it for a 1tb usb ssd drive - just because you can keep footage for longer.

I’m not sure they supplied one in our case. I’ll check it out as it’s Tina’s car and if she ever has any trouble with another driver it would be well worth having footage.

I hope you enjoyed your Sunday. It's not ideal if you have to do extra work on the weekend. I've hardly gone anywhere, but got some jobs done. Today was lovely after a very windy night.

Those cameras should be very useful if you have an insurance claim. We all know that BMW drivers can be a bit dodgy. People take so many chances when it doesn't really save them any time.

To be fair I have plenty of e-mails to answer at the weekend even if I am not called out to do an emergency swap out or delivery - because it is not unknown for coffee shops to forget they need coffee until they release they have none left!

It sure was windy over our way, had to batten down the hatches

🤦🏻 Still getting used to posting. It’s been a while, you’ll get back on track.

It's the taking photos bit I am struggling with, but I will train myself eventually!

I have the same problem. That’s why most of my posts are coins or silver. The only other time I remember to take pictures is on vacation….🤣

Excellent Sunday friend, it's good to enjoy the landscape that our nature offers us.

Thank you glad you enjoyed it.
