It's #SublimeSunday already, how the time flies when you have so much to do. Some of Halifax's finest scenery this week, a road bypass bridge so people can avoid Halifax completely if they desire.

And from the other side, it is actually a really long bridge - well for UK standards anyway.

It is part of Burdock Way which is a long section of bridges to Bypass the town - and save traffic having to go down to come back up again - for more relevant information and photos of the full section read here

Now I am sure that the irony of this situation is obvious, but just it case you can't see what makes me laugh about this - the weeds clearly indicate these cars have not moved for years.

So the No Parking signs are clearly pointless, having failed to deter people from parking - or in fact abandoning vehicles on the piece of land. As the land they are on is obviously separate from the public footpath - it must in fact be private land linked to the houses the wall forms part of. So either the people in the houses parked them there, or just don't care enough to have them towed away.

Meanwhile storm Amy blew into the UK bringing heavy rains, and powerful winds although we missed the worst - around the sort of 50mph mark around us - some areas it reached 95mph which is some pretty damaging gusts! So despite the devastation in my back garden - We will rebuild!

It has been a super busy week for roasting too, the big roaster has had to bash out batch after batch of coffee to complete some very big orders we have to fulfill from now up to Christmas. 30kg of coffee goodness dropping to cool.

Plus even more Disney cars have been listed on ebay, I am up to 50 now with loads more still to do. I could do with making better photographs, but the sheer volume to take makes it a quick snap job. Anyway this one has sold already, must be particularly rare.
So that's it for my #SublimeSunday - all photos are my own and so is the written text
Greetings friend, where is that?
Halifax in the UK - you will not have heard about it because it is a small town that is very unexciting.
It's been windy here too. We lost a fence panel that was a bit rotten and the bird feeder is askew. I'm sure others had it worse. I've not been out much. Have a good week.
I think we were lucky with the wind to be honest, it seemed to hit Ireland and Scotland more. Saying that a neighbours trampoline did try and climb into some trees!
Obviously no one cares about the sign or it’s not legal no parking sign. Glad you missed out on the heavier winds. I’ve gone through several 100+ mph hurricane winds. It’s no fun. Good luck selling your Disney cars.
We fortunately never have really high winds, although it is surprising how much chaos relatively low winds cause. I have no idea what would happen if a hurricane came through the UK - there would be very little left I suspect!
nice little car! :) I might collect toy cars and stuff later.. anyway, have a great day!
ps. here's a car I saw and luved its headlights..
I am try to uncollect toy cars - don't even get me started on Thomas the tank engine trains - I have 100's of those!
They do make some really impressive car headlights nowadays - doing all sorts of fancy illumination trickery.
😉 choo choo!!
