Today is a #BeautifulSunday by @Ace108, where we share our day in the most possibly beautiful way that we can. Before the break of dawn, my day began, just me and my son and a half dozen strangers, although not for long, throwing a hook into the water, looking to catch something tasty for dinner. Definitely a #SublimeSunday in the making, by the Meister of my morning, @c0ff33a. I do love my @c0ff33a and he likes eclectic! A match made in heaven.
To be clear, there was no real fish, but a little bit of fun caught this morning. I can get on board with that. Some days, it is all about the connection and love being shared. Those moments of being together, laughing at nothing and everything. This moment in time, that you will never get back.
Cherish. The. Love.
When I committed to the darkness of night, throwing the fishing line into the depths of obscurity, I wasn't ready for the stars to be put away. There is something magical in the twinkling of the heavens.

I've said this before, but, when it is full and unavoidably true, it requires to be said again and again. Love makes everything so much better. I love you and you and you.
Here I stand in the disenchanted field, watching as the summer passes by me. Now I must hunt and gather the seeds as they make themselves available. Sort of makes me feel like a warrior.
Beauty in distress can be the most affecting beauty. Au Revoir, Summer! Until we meet again!
And so, because it is eclectic and true, we are going to do a random check! What is in your refrigerator? Refrigerator check! Come on! You knew it was coming! I know that potatoes are better stored out or the refrigerator, but, some of the stores have them in the refrigerated area, so when that happens, I continue the trend. To do differently had been shortening their shelf life.
I never used to like water that much. Keep with me, this is part of my Sunday too. There was a huge turning point in my relationship with water. It is so easy to infuse. I selected some citrus this week to use. There will be no scurvy in this house! Truly.
I slice my oranges, lemon, and limes thin. I find some tried and true recipes to make the infusion yummy. I have found that yummy is key. If it doesn't taste amazing, I probably won't drink as much.
I have found I really love just plain lemon infused in my water. Take the slices and put them in a drinking container and fill it with water. Sometimes I like to put all three of these citruses together or even add grapefruit instead of the orange. I have gotten a little more adventurous over the years and started adding herbs such as rosemary and thyme, but keep in mind that the longer it sits, the stronger it will taste.
Lime is my new go-to infuser. As an aside, if I have leftover fruit or herbs, I chop them up and put them in an ice cube tray, fill with water and pop them out when frozen. I can put one in a drink bottle as I am going out the door. Boom. Quick and easy!
Flowers. There must always be flowers to color my world. I dedicate this picture to #SundayPurple #ColorChallenge by @Kalemandra, who colors my world every single day! And just for the heck of it, we will throw in those red in the back for #MondayRed. A twofer of sorts.

Wasn't she the sweetest? It's so easy to have a heart full of love when you have friends like that. I am not sure that there is anything better in life than to be showered with love. You can't buy it, you can't trade for it, it is just one of those things that is given freely just as you should be giving it back.

Thank you so much, JJ! I do have the best friends, ever! I think they know how much they mean to me and I treasure their friendship. It's always been this way and it was funny because it was in the middle of the night that her and her husband were traveling south for an event and so they didn't even stop in because it was the middle of the night. But she did stop by long enough to post a note on my door, reminding me of the famous Kilroy was here signature. Today is going to be 95 so all bets are off on nice weather today but tomorrow should drop into the 80s oh, so I probably will stop whining about the hot weather. Do me a favor and remind me how much I want about January time frame. That's when I'll be freezing and wondering when it will be getting warm again. Of course, you know they're so making me happy with weather. LOL

I actually did! We love it here! The man was born in Mozambique to Portuguese-Mozambican parents and I know that it was a Portuguese colony (I believe) but he later moved to Johannesburg, where he opened up a place.

These have to come from a decent camera... except maybe the fridge stock. Wahaha.... did I guess wrong on the fresh stock?
Nope. When I take a picture of my fridge, it's usually the same day or maybe the day before. I used to take one every week for a post but have gone away from that, but I occasionally post one. I do that because I'm always surprised at what I have in my refrigerator unless I am checking it regularly.
Are you trying to tell me that my picture of the refrigerator is no good? LOL let's just say that I took it with the phone and I can't tell you why and the rest were taken with my camera. Probably something to do with framing. I hope you had a beautiful Sunday and a wonderful rest of your week. Happy autumn!

That is the way I start every single morning. I have just recently given up coffee, or I should really clarify that by saying that I have given up drinking my 6 cups of coffee in the morning. It's only been a couple of weeks but I find that the water is much better for me in the morning then coffee is. It's not that I felt sick or anything but this makes me feel more alive, perhaps it's called hydrated? LOL
Today is the first day of fall and yet we will have 95° nevertheless. Tomorrow should bring us down into the 80s which is a lot more tolerable. Thank you for your very kind words and for stopping by and saying hello. I hope you have a most wonderful week ahead!

First thing in the morning a glass of water, followed by a sip of honey mixed with fresh lemon juice I keep in a special glass container mixed half/half, a kick-start to the day.
Never have more than 2 coffee's in the day, drink water till the sun goes down, then it's time for a beer and/or wine, depending on how the day went.… Life is Good, Life is Fun! !BEER

I'm a sucker for doing anything at the water! I do love and savor those salt inspired moments. It was quite The Eclectic weekend and I didn't do anything in particular but I did everything that I could imagine.
I was surprised at the amount of people that did not know about infusing their water. Seems like many people buy bottles of water instead. While I am not a huge fan of that because I don't like the water in those little plastic bottles, I have been known to drink one or two. I hope that you have a most wonderful weekend yourself and that this is the start of a beautiful fall.

Awesome tip about fruit infused water - we all need to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and that is a great way to make it more fun and get your vitamins too.
