Hello everyone! How's your Sunday?
It's almost 6pm here, it's dark outside and lately, I have a feeling the day is coming to an end at this time, it's a little bit hard for me to adjust to this winter time this year. I feel like getting into my PJ's already and get ready for bed, haha.
As you can probably tell, today's post is going to be random and that's why I like #sublimesunday tag created by @c0ff33a "a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy" as he describes it. :)
Makeup and Selfies
I was in the mood this morning to apply some makeup and take a few selfies, for no reason other then I was just in the mood to do so. After that I removed my makeup so there really was no point in this but I had fun and for me, that's all that matters. :D
Lunch
Every Sunday we have a homemade soup for lunch followed by some other food but soup is a must. I love homemade soup, especially during the colder months. Today we also had chicken, potatoes and salad but I don't have a picture of that. Sunday's lunches are the best! :)
Cat
There's so many cats in our and our neighbor's backyard and garden lately. There must be at least 10 of them circling around and this one is the most chill and the one that doesn't run away when you aproach her/him. I often see cats enjoying the sun and relaxing - they look so cute. There's 3 little ones that are adorable but unfortunately, it's hard to get a picture of them because they run and hide when people get closer to them and they live in my backyard so far, haha. Funny thing is, we have chickens as well and all the cats get along so well with the chickens and they all hang out in the backyard.
Blackberries
At this time of the year, blackberries are usually all gone, but this year we are having such a nice weather and there's still a blackberry or two here and there. I don't know how good it is to have this nice weather, I mean, I love sunshine and warm weather in general but it just doesn't seem... "normal". Last year we barely had any snow around Christmas time and here in Serbia, most people are Christian Orhodox so we celebrate Christmas on 7th January and it's weird when there is no snow and it doesn't feel like winter at all (we also have all four seasons here).
More selfies, eey
I usually take off my glasses when I take pictures because there is a weird reflection of light when I have them on and most times it makes my eyes look strange. But other than that, I pretty much never take my glasses off, from the moment I get up until I go to bed. I am so used to them that I need a good amount of time to adjust when I take them off, especially if I'm looking far away. In this picture however, I had sunshine directly in my face so my entire face has a weird reflection, haha. Also my eyes look so much lighter in color when exposed to sunshine or light in general.
Cakeee
My sister-in-law made this cake today, in Serbia known as "čupavci" and it was such a nice dessert for the afternoon. I might have one more piece now that I'm writing about it. :) I love cakes, cookies, muffins, cupcakes... Well pretty much anything sweet.

Hehe, I'm sure this one would enjoy it! I'm gonna try and take a picture of the little ones, they are so adorable but they always run away, lol.
I’m totally with you about it going dark early, it seems to have rushed upon me this year before I was ready - already it’s dark on a morning when I get up, and by 4pm at work it’s already dark and I feel like it should be home time even though there are two hours left to work. It is also making me more lazy on an evening - which is not getting me anything done on here! Roll on spring.
The cat pictures are lovely, a very content feline. And those berries are great! A super sublime Sunday for sure.

Oh, that sounds amazing, I love rice! I haven't tried all of the ways the rice is made, that you mentioned, but I would love to try it.
