Seeing how active and growing the registration list on @redditposh has become, I thought it'd be a good idea to ask people to support our Hive subreddits by subscribing to them and maybe also voting and engaging there if they have extra time.
Also a good idea to go through why some subreddits don't have @redditposh enabled for those curious why their shares there aren't being picked up by the bot and why we don't generally want any posts being shared there! So let's start there!
While Reddit decided to remove subscriber count on subreddits, we were doing quite well there all in all, now they show recent visitor count instead and contributions!
One thing to keep in mind for this subreddit is that it's meant for general Hive stuff. Random Hive posts are not welcomed, but we do excuse the general reddit post that may go over some important things while having a link to a hive post included. It's meant to share news, discuss hive-related things outside of hive and as a gateway for outsiders to ask about hive, find some important links and get to certain dapps on the side panel easily.
This is the reason that @redditposh won't pick up links shared there because most people there already are on hive, thus it doesn't "promote" hive links when using POSH.
Thus, please subscribe to the Hive Subreddit and try and check in every now and then if your upvotes or downvotes (they're anonymous on reddit) are needed, as well as your input to help mods or other visitors out that may not always be around to check!

We have made some exception to redditposh in this regard, with compliance of founders/owners of the dapps, to allow the service to work on their hive-related subreddit to increase activity and awareness of them, so in these, link sharing and earning rewards through @redditposh by doing so is accepted.
One of them is Splinterlands:
If you're a splinterlands player or actively engaing and posting about the game, you may wanna share your posts (or your fellow hive authors' posts) related to Splinterlands in there and earn some rewards by doing so along with the author. Maybe you can even copy your comment you left on their hive post over there on the share of said post so outsiders coming in may see how active we really are, but that most of that activity is happening on chain rather than on a centralized database owned by a corporation!

Another one is the upcoming game @holozing, you're able to earn some rewards for sharing holozing related posts in here as well, even though it's mostly fanart currently since the game is yet to launch, it's a good way to start building the subreddit community for when outsiders find out about us and wanna learn more.

Note to other dapps on Hive dapps, you can create subreddits for your own dapps as well and encourage your followers to post relevant posts on there and have them earn some @redditposh rewards from our curators. All we ask is that you have someone moderate the subreddits to make sure no abuse, spam or other bad activity occurs.
Drop a comment mentioning which subreddits you've subscribed to to get a sizeable vote! Thank you.
We may create more CTA's in the future to assist in subreddit activities as we all rather would spend more time on chain where our actions have value and more potential but it is something that may help us down the road to make sure the subreddit's don't look completely dead when the community here is so lively. Thanks for reading!
Glad the sub will have moderation. Ready to engage there.
Would be cool, if we had an official HivePosh way to invite Hivers to subscribe to your own subreddit and give an upvote to a post in your own sub (not speaking about Redditposh rewards). If Hivers own biggish subreddits, Hive will benefit. In other words, a tiny initiative "Create a sub and get Hivers' subscription/upvotes for developing it" would be helpful - maybe.
As I see it, developing a sub is an easy thing since you always see where you can repost your sub's post. If images are your main content, it looks easy to repost and get subscribers. Secondly, as soon as your sub is big enough, Reddit starts recommending it.
What's sense in owning subs? If Hivers own subs, we can announce Hive contests on every spot of these subs like "weekly best bird image" and onboard people. We have tons of good-quality photography on Hive - we can use this advantage.
That's quite a great idea actually, many subs allow crossposts so it could work like a marketing tool to bring people to your subreddit and through that to hive.
That's a good idea.
PS. Would you like to help moderate it? :D
Why not? :D
Will send u an invite!
What would you expect from a moderator exactly? My work is really inconsistent so some days I have tons of free time other days none.
I've been subscribed to all 3 subreddits, but forgot about r/hivenetwork until now, and have been sharing my r/splinterlands post from time to time. Can't really share much to r/holozing right now since there was not much new content available. Have already added them to my favorites, so I can't miss them.
As a redditposh user I joined all of them for sure!! 😎
already joined all of them thanks.
I was already in splinterlands sub but wasn't aware of the others, joined them... Too bad reddit removed the subscribers count, kinda lame, you can still see it at

Was already joined to Splinterlands. Just subscribed to Hivenetwork and Holozing.
Just joined all of them!

Muchas gracias @angeluxx, por la invitación. Saludos!!!
Thank you very much for the invitation, the truth is that I was unaware of this, but we are always active and ready to support the good things.
I invite you to join as many of you as you can, especially to @mariiale1979, @suisver y @rosahermosa.
Actually I don't play any of the games but I have bare minimum knowledge about it. Also I don't use reddit but for the supporting purpose I have made an account recently and joined all of three.
I will try to support as much as I can.
Very good call to action! Let's spread hive as much as we can.

It's been a while since I Joined Hive Network Community

Excellent friend, joining the subreddit, thanks for the invitation
I will support whenever my time allows
This information is very necessary for those of us who publish on Reddit and want to promote Hive. The more reach we can achieve, it would be fabulous.
I'm not an active Reddit user. I just remember participating in an event like this once. Now I've joined all the communities and will try to pop in and browse from time to time.
awesome!

I actually always use Reddit without an account. Maybe I should change that. Thanks again for the info. I didn't know we had a hive subreddit. Are the witnesses also active there or is the communication rather on discord? Which subreddit should I use if I want to share my posts? Just the one that matches the topic or are there special subreddits? As I already wrote in a previous comment, I haven't dealt with redditPOSH that much yet. That's probably because I don't quite understand the meaning behind it yet :)
Get an account first and check how others are sharing their posts on @redditposh/comments.
I've now subbed to all those sub reddits even though I don't go on reddit much and more often as aresult of looking up IT help. I had actually assumed the splinterlands sub-reddit wasn't included since most people there are on hive.
An applaud to any moderators that keep the hivenetwork sub reddit for hive.
I've only recently made a real effort to post on reddit and the posh rewards are a fantastic incentive. I do hope the hive I'm getting sent as a reward is done in a sustainable way.
saludos bros greetings

I am in the Hive Blockchain and Splinterlands Subreddits and I try to post relevant content whenever I create long form content. I need to extend that with re-sharing other's valuable articles found here.
