Yesterday there was a fuel leak near one of the train lines in NYC. A couple of news outlets were around all day to report.
The line had to be shut down for part of the day. The smell of fuel was strongly present. Even after service was restored later in the day, the odor was still there. Many claimed they felt nausea from the fumes. On my way home I smelled it, but was fine.
