Success

You know I was thinking to myself
Success is really just a measure of luck when you think about it
In the end, you have no true control over the outcome of anything. For example, getting a job, sure you walk in and apply. But do you have control over if hiring you is a smart economic decision? Do you control if they have enough income to hire someone new? How about the various emotions that go into the process of selecting you as a new employee - humans aren't 100% rational, why would they be rational with an investment that may have a 0% loss if they don't hire you?
For you to succeed, you need to be lucky. It's just that simple.
