This was taken at about half past one am. The temperature outside was about 19 C. Very pleasant. I watered some plants with the hose. This sort of weather is not very common here. It can be warmer, though. I recall one night a couple of years ago in early August when it was 25 C at midnight. It was dark, too. Very strange by local standards.
We have to keep the windows open upstairs. Few people have air conditioning in their houses unless they have air source heat pumps that can work in reverse. I guess the changing climate will force a lot more people to have air conditioning installed in their houses in the coming years and decades.
The open windows seem to attract the cat. Two years ago, she jumped out of that window onto an awning providing shade for the living room windows thus making an escape in the middle of the night. Now she's a bit older and unlikely to repeat that stunt.
Now I'll go back to bed.
