Hello to all photography lovers!
As you know, I love photography and contests ^^ Almost every day I propose a speed-game with the application @steepshot and you are every time more to join us =). After the success of the last BIG MACRO-PHOTO CONTEST, I decided to make a new one:
THE BEST SUNSET PHOTO CONTEST!!!
I love macro photography but I am also a nature lover so I wanted to change the theme this time =). For macro photography it is necessary to have a specific material to have a great quality but this time with a smartphone it is possible to have a beautiful sunset photo.
As you may know in my macro contest, there were dishonest participants who used pictures of other people. I do not tolerate this kind of behavior and this platform is about quality and does not accept copying. That's why I had to change the rules and find a way to sort between the real and the falsework. I think I found the solution =). I let you discover the rules of this contest my Steemians friends.
It starts TODAY! 50 SBD TO WIN!
1st place: 30 SBD
2nd place: 10 SBD
3rd place: 5 SBD
4th place: 5 SBD
The 8 RULES are simple:
To be considered for the contest,
β Your photography must be made by you and must be accompanied by a proof. It can be:
- a second photography with a paper with "My entry for the SUNSET PHOTO CONTEST by @flamingirl" in front of the sunset. Not only a paper because it does not prove anything ^^.
Example by @adibiqbal:
- the original version of your unedited photo
- the photo of your camera with the image on the screen
Example by @bluesapphire06
- you with your camera with the image on the screen
- you font of the same sunset
Example by @marconah
This second photo does not count for the contest but it is the proof that the first one is an original photo. This avoids any attempt at plagiarism that is not tolerated on this platform. =)
β Your photography must be accompanied by an explanation of at least 50 words (in English, French or Spanish)
β Your entry must be published on your personal Steemit account with the title "My entry for the 7 DAYS STEEMIT SUNSET PHOTO CONTEST by @flamingirl"
β Your photography blog must be posted before 0:00 of the day (time zone of Spain) to be valid. After midnight, it will be part of the next selections day. Each user has 1 entry per day that will be valid for the challenge.
β You need to be my follower =)
β You must use the "#sunset-contest" tag in your article. So I can find your entry easily otherwise it is lost among all the blogs posted on Steemit.
β You must RESTEEM the first blog [CONTEST- 50 SBD] / 7 DAYS BEST SUNSET PHOTO CONTEST! .
β You must have fun! =D
SELECTION:
β’ I will choose the 10 best entries of the day and select an absolute winner of each day. I will write a post the next day with the 10 entries selected and upvote the winner of the day. He will be selected to participate in the final to win the 30 SBD.
β’ The contest winner will receive the prize, directly from me in his wallet with a personal message =)
β’ By entering this contest you authorize me to use your photos and accompanying text only in the related posts of the contest.

Here's my entry. I took it last year in Gijon, Spain, in a hot summer sunset, with a Sony a6000, 35-50mm lens. There was a sea fog in the air which helped filter the sun and create the warm effect. Hope you like it!

I love the challenge. I m not much of a good landscape photographer, so I will try to combine my macro photography with a beautiful sunset....have a few ideas to try it out π₯ Will see how it turns outπ€ because the sunset is only a few moment and for good macro you need a few h... this will be a hard one for meπ

This is an interesting new contest which inspires a much more fresh approach. Itβs much more of the moment, we canβt pull our favourites out of our libraries as it can take weeks of trial and disappointment to get the very best photos. This allows many more people to take part too which is great for the community. And beyond everything it requires people to go out and experience the sunset every day which is an extremely enlightening and uplifting time of day, so BIG CONGRATULATIONS on coming up with this and the new rules. May in Lithuania is the month when finally spring comes and the nature starts to bloom. The fine example this field of blooming poppies somewhere in the middle of Lithuania.
Actually was going pretty far way to make portrait photoshoot and was very lucky to get such a stunning skies on colorful sunset, so managed also to make few landscape shots.
