You're very much correct on the account creation thingy. Many of the friends expressed that feeling and that was their reason for not being able to join the game. That's so disappointing but let's hope HF 20 would change it.
Super 8 Ball Club is the only project with fair distribution. Some people may consider it a low effort way but not really! When the reward pool is fixed and gamers are competing with each other to get to the top of the list to receive the most reward, it is the most challenging way and a natural competition.
I remember you played this game in the past and I'm sure you know it's not a low effort way. Sure, it's a fun way but not low efforts as the person is putting his day and night to get to the top of the list. The more shares he earn, the bigger percentage he would be able to earn. We let all kind of people to grow that way.
They claim to have 1M accounts but very little of them are active, and very small number of people are having success here. Not all people like paying for votes etc, and honestly, steemit is no longer what it was supposed to be. No human curation nowadays!
