How Do You Predict The Next 10 Luxurious Years of Cars?

Introducing the Safest 5-star Security Enabled Tesla's Model X.

Tesla's Model X managed to get a perfect 5-star safety rating by the Federal regulators, the world’s first ever SUV to top the score.

Stunning!... thousands of other SUV models have been given five stars overall, by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in past.

So…what do you mean by the “Perfect Five Stars?”

Okay! Move down...

But…

…in each of the thousands of the cases, SUVs got only four stars basing upon one of their components; the Rollover Risk.

Center of Gravity:

Compared to typical Sedans, SUVs have a higher center of gravity.

Thus, they are more prone to a rollover accident.

Especially, if the vehicle leaves the road, or if the driver makes a sharp directional adjustment during emergency maneuvers.

Why Model X Stamped as Safest?

The Model X is electric-powered.

It has a Heavy lithium battery pack on the bottom of the car that provides the power for stability.

Thus, it has a much lower center of gravity than the typical SUV.

So, it was cited the first in its class to get five stars across the board. Got it?

Jaw-dropping Risk Tests:

Apart from inspecting the rollover risk, NHTSA, the federal safety regulator, also tests;

how safe is a car in a head-on collision? in a side collision and skidding into a pole or a tree on its side.

Gigantic Safety Assurance:

Tesla said the people sitting inside a Model X have a 93% chance of walking away from an accident without serious injury. It is said that this would be the second highest on record, behind only the Tesla Model S.

Not only can the Model X survive crashes, it can avoid them before they even occur thanks to Tesla's self-driving system.

Keeping the five-star rating system aside, the full NHTSA stats is yet to be made public.

The Model X is the first SUV produced by Tesla. And also, this is the first time NHTSA has tested the same model.

The NHTSA itself previously reported that Tesla's autonomous system lowered its crash rates to 40 percent.

'Model X' in Market:

In late 2015, it was out for market sale.

Whereas, Tesla didn’t reach its full production until last year.

The Model X has a starting price of $82,500, while it typically tops $100,000 with options.

Captivating  Architecture:

Tesla is well-known for its dazzling falcon-wing doors;

which are hanged on top and open vertically rather than swinging open like a typical car door.

Self-driving cars are expected to save up to 40,000 lives every year in the US by removing the major cause of car crashes, which is human error, so it seems the only car safer than a Tesla is a Tesla that's driving itself.

Tesla is changing the evolution of Cars' History, and here's a data driven Info-graph by Futurism.

Did you know?

Only six parts on a Tesla Model S need regular replacement.

They're the four tires and the two wiper blades.

Oh, and service technicians do check the level of the battery and motor coolant occasionally.

Brake pads? Not so much.

With the bulk of its stopping done via regenerative braking--turning the electric motor into a generator to recharge the battery pack--the brakes pads on a Tesla last a ridiculously long time.

Without valves, camshafts, connecting rods, a crankshaft, gears, clutches, or any of the other complexities of a car with an engine and a transmission, a battery-electric car needs almost no service.

The future is looking good for cars and technology. I'm predicting more and more electric cars as the tech becomes cheaper, I wouldn't mind owning an electric cars once prices are a bit lower.
