Welcome back to another Astral Revelation update! This time around we're talking about the status of our development roadmap along with several reveals and announcements related to our current development progress.

Roadmap Update
We've completed an update for our White Paper that includes the various details on tokenomics, game systems, artwork, etc. that we've covered in previous posts. The two pages most relevant to what we're covering today are the Launch Checklist and Major Milestones roadmap sections.
If you've reviewed either page recently, you'll notice that a few items have been moved or altered to better reflect their completion requirements or currently priority in terms of completion order. As we continue to work towards the Closed Alpha and overall launch of the game, additional shuffling will happen as necessary.
Latest Artwork
We're pleased to share that progress on our artwork continues to roll along thanks to our dedicated team of talented artists! We're getting closer and closer to having all T1 familiars completely rendered and animated both in and out of game:

Hive Connection
Connecting Astral Revelations to Hive has been something we've talked about for several posts, now. We're pleased to announce that AR has successfully connected to the blockchain! There are still additional hurdles to overcome, but this is a major leap towards smoothly running a web3 game on Hive.

Pre-Alpha Systems Test
It's worth noting we completed the Hive connection much earlier than anticipated. We began preparing an announcement for an early launch of the Closed Alpha until stumbling across important information that directly affected the feasibility of starting our first testing phase.
In observing the launch of Terracore—a fantastic idle exploration, mining and battling game (check it out!)—we realized that many of the issues their dev, GNOME, has been dealing were likely to negatively affect Astral Revelations if we launched the Closed Alpha as planned.
As such, we're adding a systems test, or Pre-Alpha, to ensure critical systems are functioning as intended before scaling up for subsequent testing phases. We're hoping to proactively tackle unexpected bugs with a controlled sample size rather than overwhelm our dev team (a.k.a. single dev) with a flood of bug tickets that could have been avoided.
The Pre-Alpha Systems Test will be open to 15 testers:
- 5 top stakers (will be DM'd privately)
- 5 streamers
- 5 random Starter Pack owners
For streamers and Starter Pack owners, you'll need to visit the "pre-alpha-applications" channel in our Discord to state your interest in participating in either of the following ways:

@spiritsurge owns a Starter Pack and would like to join!
The cutoff for applications is March 31st. The Pre-Alpha will begin April 1st.
(The Closed Alpha has been moved to the end of April pending a successful systems test)
NFT Marketplace
If you missed our NFT Marketplace Preview, check out our previous post to see what you've been missin'!
Development continues at a steady pace, and we fully expect to launch the Marketplace shortly after the Closed Alpha begins. This does mean we are delaying it to sync up with the Closed Alpha—likely the beginning of May pending a smooth Closed Alpha launch—but it will include a full site launch for Astral Revelations.
Expedition Staking
As part of the NFT Marketplace, we want to begin testing Expeditions separately from the Closed Alpha. Expeditions are unlocked after progressing to a part of the game testers won't yet have access to in the Closed Alpha, but we still want to smooth out any kinks in the system.
Early Expedition testing will be limited to staking NFT Familiars and earning $STELLARUM.
Incorporating NFT Keystones and $ASTRA—and potentially other tokens!—will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Slow-and-steady is the name of the game!
Closed Alpha Cutoff
To prepare for launching the Pre-Alpha, Closed Alpha and NFT Marketplace, our first presale cutoff is set for March 31st.
After March 31st, Starter Pack/Wisp Bundle presales will pause until the NFT Marketplace is live.
This temporary pause is to ensure a smooth transition from our current manual delivery system to an automated one. Once live, you will be able to purchase Starter Packs and all future presale bundles directly through the Marketplace.
$ASTRA will remain purchasable through TribalDex.
Reservations
If you wish to apply for the Pre-Alpha or participate in the Closed Alpha, your Starter Pack will need to be paid for by March 31st. Any Starter Packs purchased after the cutoff—once the Marketplace is live and the presale resumes—will only grant access to the Closed Beta.
We'll be updating the "🎉｜pack-reservation" channel in our Discord with a list of those Starter Packs that remain unpaid to make it easy to know whether or not you qualify for the Pre-Alpha and Closed Alpha.
$PIMP:$STELLARUM Liquidity Pool

We're particularly excited to announce that Astral Revelations is partnering with the PIMP community to create a $PIMP:$STELLARUM LP!
More details will be released in a future post, but the highlights are:
- The LP will launch by the end of March
- LP rewards will be announced March 27th
- Possibly adding $ASTRA as a reward up until the v1.0 launch
NOTE: The only ways to acquire $STELLARUM, currently, are:
- Purchasing $ASTRA for weekly airdrops (delivered Sundays)
- Buying directly from the market
1UP Cartel Partnership
In case you missed the Discord announcements, Surgent Gaming is partnering with the Cartel to incorporate $ONEUP into our tokenomics!
Currently, that involves being able to use $ONEUP to purchase uniquely themed consumables for use on Adventures within Astral Revelations. Our team has a long history with the Cartel, and we're eager to support their community by bringing additional utility to $ONEUP in our games!
Hive Engine Token Consumables
To elaborate on the Cartel partnership, Astral Revelations is currently working closely with three Hive communities to create use cases for their tokens within our games.

We can confirm that $ONEUP and $PIMP will be used to purchase consumables, and we're ironing out the details for the third token.
Future Use Cases
In addition to being able to purchase consumables, we're hoping to create additional use cases and incentives for staking the Hive Engine tokens we're partnering with.
While not guaranteed, we're exploring ideas such as:
- Unique Expeditions that cost partner tokens
- In-game events that reward partner tokens
- Activities that tier participation rewards based on staked partner tokens
We'll continue to share additional details as things become more concrete, but the most important takeaway is we're actively working to create multiple use cases for partnered tokens within our ecosystem.
Opportunities
We are looking to translate and localize our game in multiple languages. While English will be the main language of the game, we are also looking to reach out to other regions as early as possible. We have need for Chinese (中国人) translators to help us set up the foundations. If you feel you are the right person, please reach out to @spiritsurge through our Discord.
