RE: SwiftCash and SwiftRewards - Why You Should Buy Before Block 525,600

I think those are false flags for the built-in miner. The core wallets are open source and were first released about six months ago. The code is on github and you can compile yourself too. And if you wanna be super careful, you can install the wallet in a VM or sandbox so it won't have access to your personal files. Alternatively, you can also just use the web wallet which is also open source and non-custodial. You can't however stake/mine or setup a swiftnode or vote on proposals with the web wallet.

Thanks for your response. I found some similar results at the smartcash wallet and after researching forums I found similar answers. Would be great if you come to the whitelist of the listed security programs. I think I will give the wallet a try in the next days.

No worries. I'm not sure how to go about getting whitelisted tbh. It's great that you are careful with these things though. Not long ago an altcoin with almost a few months reputation released a binary with virus and hacked a few people but their code wasn't public and they didn't follow some of the best practices and routines in the industry to be able to prove that they've compiled the binaries from the source. They didn't release any signatures but I always do. You can check and verify them here. Best thing to do imo is to always use a sandbox or VM so the binary won't have access to all of your computer this way.
