Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Switzerland Fritz Zurbrügg said that the documents provided by the Libra cryptocurrency project turned out to be "very blurred".

The Swiss central bank is working closely with the responsible authorities, but "it is currently extremely difficult to conduct a full analysis of the project, because the documents provided are very blurred and do not contain details.

Zurbrügg also noted that the control of the project by national and global regulators is critical.

Previously, a delegation of US lawmakers visited Switzerland to discuss the Facebook cryptocurrency project and how to regulate it with local authorities. Members of Congress reported that the meeting did not help to dispel their doubts.

In July, the Swiss Federal Commissioner for Data and Information Protection stated that he had not received the expected response from Libra to his request for information, despite the fact that Facebook promised to regulate the cryptocurrency project in Swiss jurisdiction.
