Right now it's not in much demand which is why the market cap is so abysmally low.
ACTUALLY steem has 80k members and 100M market cap. One member is valued at over 1k. Facebook users are valued at $600. So its not that crazy small. Steem will need some more users. Wait until it has a million users and then 100 million and the market value will be significant.
