The first thing I need to say about this album is the fact that this music is actually copyright-free, which means that you can use this music as part of your content legally and you won’t get any issues with copyright laws! The album features an awesome range of instrumental songs, so it works perfectly as background music.

The album starts with the song ‘Discovery Wave’ and when I first listened to this I couldn’t believe this is copyright-free! Songs that are in that genre usually don’t sound good and the quality is usually not great, either. Don’t even get me started on the choice of chords and the details of the actual music. But this track is the complete opposite of that; the quality of this is incredible, it is mixed and mastered to perfection and the melody itself is very catchy! The second track ‘Captain Magnets’ features amazing drums that really make the entire song shine. This music is perfect for content creators looking for quality synth music to use, but it’s also really pleasant to listen to if you’re driving, for example. ‘Interstellar Dreams’ is the title of song number 3 and this one sounds very galactic. The drums in this are fantastic again, but this time I also really notice the bass-line which sets this song apart. The following track is called ’87 Again’ and this song manages to capture everything I love about synth music. It’s a very upbeat melody with a simple bass-line that makes you want to go back in time and dance the night away.

‘District Delta’ is a more serious-sounding tune, which is quite a nice change and brings variety into this album. The same can be said about the next song on the album called ‘Beaming Club’. The unique thing about this one is the fact that guitar sounds are used that make this song stand out from the others so far and personally I love synth sounds combined with guitars. The guitar is kept quite simple and rhythmic, which works well with the other instruments. ‘Arcade Motoki’ is the name of song number 7 and at this stage I have to point out the accuracy of the song-titles in regards to the actual sound of each track. I could definitely see this tune being used for an Arcade game and/or a video that is about a topic related to Arcades. The next track is called ‘Lost Grid’ and as the name suggests this is a more serious-sounding instrumental synth-wave song. At this stage I notice how the different synth sounds compliment each other really well, this is something that is the case on all the tracks so far and once again I’m blown away by the quality of this album, especially since this is free to use.

‘Bonjour Kaname’ is another happy-sounding track that is perfect for a travel related video or maybe even a commercial. The same can be said about the following song ‘What about My Love’. The thing that makes this tune stand out for me is the guitar work that starts in the middle of the track. The guitar is once again kept simple and fits in perfectly. ‘Radiant Bonbon’ is the title of song number 11 and this is another upbeat tune that takes you right back to the glory-days of the 80s! While every song includes synthesisers I am amazed at the versatility on this album! This is a perfect example of how much you can achieve with synthesisers if you know what you’re doing. The following track is called ‘You Me & Fabienne’ and this track is once again very catchy and I love the fading effects in the background that sound like a spaceship is taking off into space! The same can be said about the next song called ‘Star Seed’, however this is actually the longest track on this album at over 5 minutes.

‘Busters Power’ has a really cool bass effect going on in the background that works very well with the drums and the synthesisers. Track 15 has the title ‘Oyasumi Princess’ and once again the title is very suitable. I can see this track being used for some kind of animated content that is inspired by Japanese culture. The following song is called ‘Undercover Romance’ and as the title suggests this is a love song that sounds blissful. ‘Cosmo Club’ is similar to ‘Star Seed’, but it features interesting timing signatures and a synth that almost sounds like it has a delay effect.

Song 18 is called ‘International Drive 85’ and this is the perfect tune to go on a long drive with. The album ends with ‘Journey To Karo’ and this song highlights all the positive aspects of this album: Catchy synthesisers, simple drums combined with a strong bass-line and it gives off this dreamy vibe that you get from this type of music that I just love. I can’t help but notice the high production quality of this entire album once again. I spent several days listening to this and it never ceased to amaze me just how professional this really is. NoBan Stream did a great job with this and for all those reasons I can only recommend you check out this incredible instrumental synth wave album! Here are some more links for you to check out:
