I couldn't imagine many western leaders daring to do anything like this. Some are so unpopular, they would be lynched in the street without their security detail. Instead we have a plain speaking popular leader. No PR and spin doctors vetting every word, just a quietly spoken ophthalmologist speaking from the heart.
