Life takes many turns and along the way you are presented with situations that test your heart and generosity, 28 years ago I met my brother-in-law when he was only 2 years old, who would have thought that 11 years later he would become my eldest son who was only 13 years old when he was orphaned.
La que era mi suegra, murió de forma muy repentina, de un cáncer de ovarios que desde el momento de su diagnóstico hasta su muerte solo pasaron 3 meses, la enfermedad se la llevó muy joven con tan solo 49 años dejando a Zeus, mi cuñado de tan solo 11 años, pero él tenía a su papá ( el que era mi suegro).
La muerte de mi suegra causó en mi suegro una dejadez, una persona cardiopata, que no tomoba sus medicamentos, ni hacia dieta, se entregó a la tristeza, murió de un infarto dos años después de su esposa.
Esto dejo a Zeus, huérfano de padre y madre a la corta edad de 13 años en ese momento, comenzó la disputa por el, su tía paterna lo quería con ella, su hermano por parte de madre (en ese momento mi esposo) lo quería con nosotros y sus hermanos paternos también entraron en el panorama.
Para un niño tan pequeño fue una situación difícil de la noche a la mañana quedó completamente solo, al final después de tantas ofertas, se quedó con nosotros, ya yo tenía a mi hija mayor y estaba embarazada de mi hijo menor y Zeus se mudó con nosotros.
My mother-in-law, who was my mother-in-law, died very suddenly, of ovarian cancer, from the time of her diagnosis until her death, only 3 months passed, the disease took her very young with only 49 years old, leaving Zeus, my brother-in-law only 11 years old, but he had his father (who was my father-in-law).
The death of my mother-in-law caused in my father-in-law a laziness, a person with a heart disease, who did not take his medications, nor did he go on a diet, he gave himself up to sadness, he died of a heart attack two years after his wife.
This left Zeus, orphan of father and mother at the young age of 13 years at that time, began the dispute for him, his paternal aunt wanted him with her, his brother on his mother's side (at that time my husband) wanted him with us and his paternal brothers also entered into the picture.
For such a small child it was a difficult situation overnight he was completely alone, in the end after so many offers, he stayed with us, I already had my oldest daughter and was pregnant with my youngest son and Zeus moved in with us.
Lo recibimos como un miembro más de la familia, mi mamá, mi hermana y nosotros lo adoptamos, empezó a estudiar, lo llevamos a las reuniones familiares, era uno más de nosotros, mi hijo mayor, pero al crecer sus preferencias sexuales cambiaron, el quería experimentar y de repente se fue de nuestro lado, por que ansiaba su libertad cosa que su hermano no le permitía.
Pasaron muchos años, supe que se comunicaba con mis hijos por Messenger en esa época, o fb, lo volví a ver cuando mi hija cumplió 15 su sobrina favorita, y luego se volvió a perder.
Luego de mucho tiempo nos enteramos que vivís acá en Bogotá y cuando la situación se volvió difícil en Venezuela, mi ex esposo le dijo que si nos podía recibir en Colombia, en el dijo que si, apesar de las grandes diferencias con su hermano, de haber apartado a toda la familia de él y de abandonarlo prácticamente, yo le había perdido el rastro, me la pasaba metida en el trabajo.
Al llegar acá a Colombia pues el me recibió muy bien ya yo venía con una oferta de trabajo lista para empezar al día siguiente, mi ex ya tenía tres meses aquí el se vino primero, luego de unos meses pasó lo de mi separación, eso es tema para otra publicación, y quien me defendió para que no me agrediera mi ex pareja fue el, de hecho los dos abandonamos el apartamento donde vivíamos.

When I arrived here in Colombia, he received me very well and I came with a job offer ready to start the next day, my ex already had three months here, he came first, after a few months happened my separation, that is a topic for another publication, and who defended me so that my ex partner did not attack me was him, in fact we both left the apartment where we lived.
A partir de ese momento Zeus se convirtió en mi guardaespaldas, por que mi ex comenzó una persecución se aparecía en mi trabajo, en la calle al asecho, Zeus me acompañaba para todos lados incluso dejo de trabajar para protegerme.
Fue mi testigo para mí denuncia en fiscalía y para la orden de protección, y desde ese momento jamás me dejó sola, vivimos muchas aventuras juntos, desde no tener un plato para comer, dormir en hoteles, hasta llegar a donde estamos ahorita.
Ayer fue su cumpleaños y salimos a celebrarlo, tengo mucho que agradecerle, me defendió me ayudó durante ese tiempo lo mantuve por que me estaba cuidando de que no me pasará nada luego llegó la pandemia la pasamos juntos, una gran compañia fue un momento solo nos teníamos el uno al otro.
Ahora las cosas han progresado estamos mucho más cómodos el en su trabajo y con su vida pero siempre respetuoso del hogar, y yo con mi trabajo en la clínica juntos hemos salido adelante, ahora con muchos planes y sé que se van a cumplir pero Zeus siempre me ha considerado su mamá, yo ocupo ese lugar.
From that moment on Zeus became my bodyguard, because my ex started a persecution, he would show up at my work, on the street, Zeus would accompany me everywhere, he even stopped working to protect me.
He was my witness for my complaint in the prosecutor's office and for the protection order, and from that moment on he never left me alone, we lived many adventures together, from not having a plate to eat, sleeping in hotels, until we got to where we are now.
Yesterday was his birthday and we went out to celebrate it, I have a lot to thank him for, he defended me, he helped me during that time I kept him because he was taking care of me so that nothing would happen to me, then the pandemic arrived, we spent it together, a great company, it was a moment we only had each other.
Now things have progressed, we are much more comfortable, he in his work and with his life but always respectful of the home, and I with my work in the clinic together we have moved forward, now with many plans and I know that they will be fulfilled but Zeus has always considered me his mother, I take that place.
Muchas aventuras pero hoy celebró su vida, agradezco a Dios infinitamente por que lo puso en mi camino como un ángel guardián, me protegió contra su propio hermano, entre los dos me escogió a mi, como un hijo con su madre, por eso celebró sus triunfos, le escucho sus planes y apoyo sus sueños.....Zeus Feliz cumpleaños y que Dios te guarde, mi hijo adoptivo.....mi familia...

Lo que se hace con amor de ve recompensado con amor y eso es lo que sucedió con Zeus quien a pesar de estar distanciados te recibió nuevamente en su vida!

Si es mi hijo lo crie pequeño y ahora me protege a mí y a sus sobrinos solo le pido a Dios que sea feliz creo que lo es por qué se siente en familia
