The swallows were flying low because it was going to rain.
The little toad was sad looking at the swallows. He knew that in his swamp those beautiful beings hardly ever land. All that would happen would be a freezing rain.
But, that day was special, and a beautiful female swallow landed in front of him.
The little toad was trying to smile, but in fact was very nervous because he felt he couldn't speak anything interesting, while she seems to know always exactly what to say.
At that moment, they noticed that a rainbow had apeared in the horizon.
They were gazing the rainbow, when the toad said that he could jump as high as the rainbows.
The swallow immediately said that she had been always visiting that swamp, and she had never seen any toad leaping so high.
So, the little toad said:
" It's because I always jump along the green arc of the rainbow, so anyone never sees me. I do it because I'm very humble, so I use my great ability to such a high and precise leap."
