This is a weekly spread I thought of and use to determine what is something positive (easy) and negative (more difficult) to keep in mind and work on throughout my week. I'd like to share with you the results in the hopes you benefit from this too.
This reading uses the Thoth Tarot by Aleister Crowley.
Today's spread reveals the Four of Swords (Reversed) and the Three of Cups (Reversed).
The first card represents a positive (easy) thing to focus on. The Four of Swords (Reversed) has the word truce printed on it. This card serves as a reminder that fighting against the flow of life isn't always profitable. You must learn to identify when your efforts aren't moving you forward.
This second card represents a negative (difficult) thing to focus on. The Three of Cups (Reversed) has the word abundance printed on it. There are times when too much is not a good thing. This week abundance is working against you. You may have burdened yourself. Focus on reversing these effects for the duration of the week.
This week's reading is telling you to not fight everything that crosses your path. There will be obstacles that you can't directly oppose or act against. Identify when this happens and redirect your efforts. This week is about redirection. You will want to re-purpose your abundance and alleviate yourself of this burden. You should use this week to set a new foundation for yourself. Next week you can begin to build off of this new foundation.
