Hello dear Steemians,
COVID-19 virus is spreading all over the world. Based on latest World Health Organization, globally confirmed cases more than 70,000, the worst is affected China more than 70.000 confirmed cases, and more than 1800 deaths inclusive doctors and nurses who trying to treat and save the patient’s life.
Singapore also one of the affected country has confirmed cases 85 (latest report), 4 critical patients in ICU, 34 patients are discharged, and the rest of patients in recovering stage. Luckily to say no death case up to now.
Due to this diseases, many people are realise to cut down taking animal products and start vegetarian diets become a new trend in Singapore.
Today I would like to introduce you a good vegan restaurant which’s located a mall at Havelock Road, Singapore.
The restaurant called Genesis Vegan Restaurant 创世纪素食馆。The interior of restaurant is well renovated, nice and simple, modern design aesthetic.
They are selling pasta, rice, western dishes, organic food, appetizer and drinks. After read thru the menu and food introduction, I decided to order the main meals for western dishes which’s so special for me to try.
Besides that, they also offering daily special meals which was shown on the black board in restaurant.
Let’s see what we had ordered:
Seaweed rolls 紫菜卷which’s contained purple cabbage, cucumber, sprouts, romaine and carrots, crunchy almonds and oil free cashew sauce. The way it presented maybe not that nice but it’s tasty. Yummy! The price of this seaweed rolls was S$5.90.
Next order was daily special, Vege fried rice 蔬菜炒饭 with cost S$8.90. The added cucumbers, cabbage and tomatoes are super fresh.
The portion they served was just nice. My friend finished the whole plate.
Almond Brown Rice Milk 杏仁糙米奶 (自制) with cost S$3.90. Super fragrant and yummy! Highly recommended to all of you, "must try drinks" for this restaurant.
My last order was Lasagne 意大利式千层面 with cost S$12.90. The mushroom and brown lentils constitute and cashew sauce filling for this dish.
It was tasty and appertising, but the portion was too big for one person especially for ladies.
Vegetarian food is really delicious. Have you start vegetarian diets?
