Hello, friends! Yesterday I came to visit my grandma who lives in an old small restaurant.
The restaurant was mie ayam pinangsia, an old chinese food restaurant which already operated more than 5 decades ago. It is now managed by my dad's older sister. The story behind this old restaurant was just simply the noodle which was sold in basin and made by my grandma, which is 100 years old this october.
Here how it looked from the front

And it was the dining area

When i took the pict, mom was chatting with my grandma

It is not too crowded here nowadays.
The menu that it provided

Like the name mie ayam pinangsia, mie ayam means chicken noodle and pinangsia is the name of the street where it is located, the special menu here is chinese noodle. But they also had their other special dishes like nasi campur (pork BBQ rice), lomie kangkung (kale lomie), nasi tim (steamed rice with chicken on its' top), chinese food (capcay, and any others favorite here).
The waitress here were all taught by my aunt how to cook and often my aunt herself, cooks for the customers.
Here when our noodle prepared

Mine was chicken mushroom noodle with the meatballs

Mom's was chicken mushroom noodle with the dumplings

The taste

Like usually i loved the smooth of the noodle, with the tasty savory flavor. The mushroom tasted great and also the chicken was tasty and savory. And also the meatballs were soft, savory and tasty too.
And the dumplings, they were soft, tasty, and savory. We added tongcai and also chilli sauce to make it a bit spicy.
Actually we ate our food with my grandma also by my side :), she also wanted to eat noodle yesterday.
My aunt also gave us her asinan for the take away. Here how it looked like

It was actually mixed of vegetables with fried kerupuk (fried chips) and also peanut paste which had fresh taste from vegetable with the peanut paste which had savory, sweet and a bit sour taste, you could also added the chilli sauce to make it spicy.
