I wrote about Lobak around 3 months ago, but that was another stall that's famous around this area. Well the one I'm about to review has its own fame and fans as well, as it's also been operating for 2 generations, so you can imagine how good they are.
They moved to this new place called 168 Kopitiam (Meru) Klang after the old place, Emporium Makan, need to be demolished to give way to the constructions of monorail by the government. This Kopitiam is also the same one I made the review of Satay a month ago if you remember! Inside there are all kinds of gems that's waiting to be explored!
As you can see the stall was operated by 2 old couple, so the customers actually need to come to pick up their own order after they choose and pay for the food, as both of them are just too busy to do the delivery if you choose to dine there.
All the food will be reheated by fried another round after you choose the items so the crunchiness will remain.
Lobak is a very simple dish, where most of the things are fried. Simple and yet delicious. You don't need too many varieties, just like me, I always pick the main 4 items every single time I come to take away this food, which is the Lobak, the Popiah (spring roll), the fried yam cake and the fish ball. Today I added the Chinese style Sausage as a special treat!
Most of the time it comes down to the sauce that distinguishes which stall you will like at the end of the day. Because to be honest, the Lobak in each stall is basically almost the same types of fried food.
Let's see what I got!
I don't actually need to say how delicious the food is, because they really are, just look at them! But I like the sauce from the other stall better compare to this one.
Overall
I would come back again, definitely because we can't always eat the same place, once a while we need to change a bit to make food less boring, right?! Haha...
Thank you for reading my review, hope you enjoy it. See you in my next post!

Oooo.. I haven't eaten any local since I'm back.
I must go get some by the end of the week.
I know the feeling, always not enough time or the stomach to get all the food!!
So good to see you back with new amazing photos and a new presentation of exotic tastes:)
Thank you so much @georgeboya, feels good to be back!
Spring roll is one food I really enjoy, most of the other foods look great, most I have never seen before @joelai, the sauce with chilly and spice look ever so tasty.
Yup, the sauce plays the important part, the brown one taste a bit sweet, the red one is more chilli taste and spicy, mixed them up together just tasted extraordinary!!

Yay!!
It is the sauce that makes the difference! I love your spring roll and honestly had never had the yams that way, but, they look wonderful and I would be willing to give them a go! :)
I am amazed at how many places there are to make eating as a take away so easy and convienant! And well priced!
I will make sure I go to the other one with the better sauce! What made the other one better?
!tip
Thank you for your great comment @dswigle!
Well, the other one has a stronger and richer sauce, that made the difference!
Thank you!!

Food looks good. Most I haven’t eaten.
You have to if you ever come to Malaysia.
Oooo, that looks amazing! Nice job capturing all those pictures - I feel like I was there! Although sadly, my tummy's still hungry - even moreso after seeing the delicious looking food...LOL! Also...
Thank you @traciyork!
As always, you gave the most awesome GIF EVER!!!
I like oriental food, but I don't think I've ever had Lobak. It looks good!
It's kind of like a very traditional Chinese hawker food, definitely should give it a try.
Ok i am hungry for those pastries and the sauce in the bag is that hot sauce or?
It's the mixture of the sweet sauce and the hot sauce, they will always put them together unless you instruct them to pack it separately.
Ah! I have a chinese friend at the old place that is now many miles away from here and he used to make us Spring Rolls. They are my favorite.
A great review here my friend.
Blessings!
Thank you so much my friend!
Always a pleasure my dear friend.
Blessings!
This all looks really good!
Thank you very much, they were good!
Yum!
Yum indeed.
@joelai - your food from this vender does look very tasty. Everything you show that they are cooking looks delicious. But then I'm pretty partial to almost anything fried, lol. Nice review!
Yeah, they always say, tasty food is not always the healthier food... Oh well...
All this looks delicious! I got hungry
Hahaha... Thank you very much!
This made me hungry now I'm craving for these kinds of food
Go get some @sgbonus!
Awesome! That looks so tasty!
Haha... Thanks!
It looks delicious, @joeylai. Will you send some to me? 😆
Thank you very much @jayna, I wish I could!! Haha
Howdy joelai! yay, you're back tasting great food at great restaurants! lol. I have no idea what that tastes like but I'd love to try it! As long as the fish ball doesn't have fish heads in it! lol.
I don't think they put the fish head in the fishball paste my friend :P
Well I can't tell how big the fish balls are so I thought that might be a possibility but I'm glad it is not! lol.
@joelai,
Everything looks delicious. If I ever get to Malaysia, I'm going to spend a lot of time trying all these different foods ... you guys eat well. :-)
